Joining us in July 2023, Ian brings over 15 years of sales expertise with a proven track record in both residential and commercial sectors. With a passion for arboriculture, landscaping, and plant health care, Ian is currently pursuing certification with the International Society of Arboriculture. His dedication to educating clients on tree health and maintenance has already made a notable impact on our team.
Before transitioning to arboriculture, Ian spent over 20 years in the service industry. His commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices inspired his shift to a field where he can make a difference. Ian is eager to collaborate with organizations such as the U.S. Department of Forestry and the Nevada Division of Forestry to contribute to the preservation and health of our national parks.
Outside of work, Ian is deeply devoted to his family, spending quality time with his mother and grandparents. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, and sports, and also explores creative pursuits such as drawing, painting, graphic design, and animation.
Ian’s leadership approach is centered around leading by example and fostering collaboration to achieve shared goals. We are excited to have Ian Mack on our team and look forward to his continued growth and contributions within our organization.

Meet Kelsie Ann Kauhaahaa, our dynamic Administrative Supervisor at First Choice Tree Service. Since joining the team in September 2022, Kelsie has been a key player in our operations—managing customer payments, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining detailed financial records. In recognition of her leadership and dedication, Kelsie was promoted to Office Supervisor in the second quarter of 2025.
In her current role, she oversees all office administrators across the organization and plays a crucial role in streamlining front office procedures and optimizing our CRM program, Arborgold.
Kelsie brings over a decade of experience in customer service and administration. After relocating from her hometown of Maui to Las Vegas in 2021, she worked as a pharmacy admin at Partell Pharmacy before joining our team. Known for her attention to detail and positive, can-do attitude, she efficiently handles a wide range of responsibilities—from scheduling and approvals to greeting customers and managing multiple phone lines.
Outside of work, Kelsie enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending concerts, exploring local parks, watching movies, and discovering new flavors at food festivals. Her warm Aloha spirit and approachable personality make her a cherished member of our team.

Meet Chase Hyten, our dedicated Plant Health Care Technician, who was promoted to Plant Health Care Supervisor in the second quarter of 2025. Chase has been an integral part of the First Choice Tree Service team since May 2023. In his role, he oversees the administration of macro and micronutrients, deep root treatments, and trunk injections. He is skilled in applying pesticides and addressing common deficiencies that affect trees and plants. Additionally, Chase carefully monitors plant health, identifying and addressing disease or physical issues.
Chase brings years of experience from industry leaders like Anderson Pest Control and Las Vegas Pest Control. He holds a Principal NV Pest Control License, along with C1, C2, and C6 licenses from the NV Department of Agriculture, and specializes in pigeon and rodent control.
Outside of work, Chase’s outgoing personality and sense of humor make him a favorite among the team. He enjoys archery, cooking a variety of cuisines (and sharing his creations with the staff), watching horror films, and spending time with friends and family. He is also actively involved in his LDS community.
Chase is passionate about expanding his knowledge of plant biology and entomology, and we’re excited to support his growth and continued success as he advances within First Choice Tree Service.

Introducing Ashley Hampton, our Grounds Maintenance Account Manager. Ashley joined our team in October 2023 with vibrant energy and a determination to apply her skills and expertise to enhance our department. A Las Vegas native, she brings a wealth of local knowledge and valuable connections to benefit our organization.
Prior to joining us, Ashley held pivotal roles at esteemed firms such as CAMCO, a leading community association management company in Nevada. She was a successful administrative assistant, aiding in the management of various communities throughout the valley. At Gothic, she further refined her administrative acumen and contributed actively to landscape design projects.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ashley is a dedicated community advocate, actively volunteering her time to support charitable causes and raise awareness within the landscape industry. Her proactive engagement underscores her commitment to making a meaningful difference.
Outside of work, Ashley cherishes moments with her family and close friends, whether they’re enjoying the outdoors through golf, hiking, or lake activities. She also finds solace in reading and pursuing creative arts and crafts projects during her downtime.
